Peter Updegraff was born circa 1703. He was the son of Isaac Updegraff. Peter Updegraff married Gertrude [—?—] on Thursday, 10 September 1722.1 Peter Updegraff died in 1748. He has also been reported to have died after 1738.1
Peter had a Bible containing dates of birth, etc. that was printed in Amsterdam in 1633. During his research, Clyde Shank found this Bible and turned it over to the York County Historical Society on 21 August 1957.
Peter once owned land in Conewago Township, York County, Pennsylvania as is supposedly mentioned in his brother Derrick's estate. He was born after 1696 and before 1702, and died sometime after 1738, the date of his brother Derrick's estate settlement.1
