Abraham Updegraff was born in February 1746.1 He was the son of Herman Updegraff and Mary Ann Louden. Abraham Updegraff married, at age 22, Mary Mendenheim on Saturday, 10 December 1768.1 Abraham Updegraff died in 1781 at York County, Province of Pennsylvania, America, at age 34 years.1

Also came to court William Willis, guardian of Abraham and asked that Abraham might be boud unto Joseph Updegraff, hatter of Yorktown. Members of the Friends Society.
Abraham died of a lingering consumption.
On 28 August 1781 an Administration report was filled by John Rothrock, York County, Pennsylvania stating Abraham had minor children surviving him and not having sufficient personal estate to pay his just debts, 14 September 1783. Abraham was in the York County, Pennsylvania Militia as a Private.
