     Anna C. Clapp was born circa 1859 at Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Daniel Clapp and Catherine Lucy Updegraff. Anna C. Clapp married Clarence E. Sprout, age 25, son of S. E. Sprout and Mary Sutton, on Thursday, 4 November 1886.1 Anna C. Clapp died on 20 February 1931 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was buried in the Muncy Cemetery, located in Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
