Boyd Cummings Updegraff was born in April 1863 at Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Samuel Updegraff and Jane Longan.2 Boyd Cummings Updegraff married Etta Jane Chamberlin, daughter of Anna J. [—?—], in 1887.1 Boyd Cummings Updegraff died on 12 April 1951 at age 88 years.3
On Nov. 20, 1865, the court appointed Albert J. Updegraff, Boyd's brother, as his guardian. Boyd left a will - Will Book 31, page 396 Lycoming Co., PA, made Jun. 28, 1925, registared Jun. 15, 1951. He appeared on the census of 12 July 1870 in the household of Jane Longan at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Boyd Cummings Updegraff appeared on the census of 7 June 1900 in the household of Jane Longan at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Boyd Cummings Updegraff and Etta Jane Chamberlin appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at Williamsport, 7th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
