     Margaret Esther Kurtz was born on 6 January 1897 at Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 She was the daughter of Jacob F. Kurtz and Katharine Irion.4 Margaret Esther Kurtz married, at age 26, Irvin William Stabler, age 27, son of Daniel Stabler and Amanda Smithgall, on Tuesday, 12 June 1923.2 Margaret Esther Kurtz died on 10 December 1957 at age 60 years, 11 months and 4 days.
     Margaret Esther Kurtz was also known as Esther.2 She was a public school teacher in 1920.5
