     Isaac Asbury Owens was born on 5 June 1827 at Tennessee. He was the son of James G. Owens and Hannah VanBibber. Isaac Asbury Owens married, at age 26, Elizabeth Steeley on Thursday, 17 November 1853. Isaac Asbury Owens married, at age 28, Susannah Spencer on Sunday, 4 November 1855. Isaac Asbury Owens died on 17 April 1908 at age 80 years, 10 months and 12 days.1 He was buried in the West Scottville Cemetery, located in Scottville, Macoupin County, Illinois.1
