Lulu Jane Hypes

Lulu Jane Hypes was born on 19 June 1915 at Tipton, Nicholas County, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Thomas Rupert Hypes and Loretta Harrah. Lulu Jane Hypes married, at age 16, Cecil Brooks Preast, age 23, son of James Alonzzo Preast and Virginia Frances Brown, on Monday, 15 February 1932 at Nicholas County, West Virginia. Lulu Jane Hypes died on 28 April 1999 at Swiss, Nicholas County, West Virginia, at age 83 years, 10 months and 9 days.
She was widowed at age 66 by the death of Cecil on 11 May 1982.
