Minnie Rosalind Stabler was born on 10 July 1873 at Niles Township, Floyd County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Solomon Stäbler and Philinda Moriah Ellis. Minnie Rosalind Stabler married, at age 23, Frank Duane Webster, age 21, son of Henry L. Webster and Emma Jane Kellogg, on Tuesday, 11 August 1896 at Methodist Evangical Congregational Church, Colwell, Floyd County, Iowa. Minnie Rosalind Stabler died on 20 October 1957 at Charles City, Floyd County, Iowa, at age 84 years, 3 months and 10 days. She was buried on 22 October 1957 in the Riverside Cemetery, located in Charles City, Floyd County, Iowa.
She and Frank may have had one child which did not survive. There is a Post Card postmarked 30 July 1912, St. Louis, MO from Mrs. & Mr. Meyer addressed to Mrs. & Mr. Frank Webster, Charles City, IA.
Face of Card: "Heartiest Congratulations" "Best Wishes for the little stranger" and the picture of a stork carrying a baby.
Handwritten on the back is: "Hearty - Congratulations."
This probably pre-dates Orphan Train Foster children. Gladys Palmer & George Pierce were take from the 1917 Orphan Train. They had a total of four foster children: Gladys Palmer Pagels, George Pierce, Harold Austin, & Paul Selley.
