Donald L. Paulhamus was born on 28 February 1919 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Verus Levi Paulhamus and Della Viola Roller.1,2 Donald L. Paulhamus married, at age 22, Mary Elizabeth Robinson, daughter of William Edgar Robinson and Jeanette Bastian, on Friday, 6 June 1941.1 Donald L. Paulhamus died on 30 November 2007 at Divine Providence Hospital, The Gatehouse, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 88 years, 9 months and 2 days.1
His obituary was published on 2 December 2007 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Donald L. Paulhamus, 88, of 85 Valley Lane, Linden, died Friday, November 30, 2007 at the Gatehouse following a brief illness.
He and his wife, the former Elizabeth (Betty) Robinson observed their 66th wedding anniversary on June 6, 2007.
Don attended Fairlawn Community Church, was a life member of the Masonry Block and Brick Union and was a loving husband and father.
He did masonry work for Lundy and Gehron Constructions, as well as farming.
Born Feb. 28, 1919 in Lycoming Twp., Lycoming Co., he was the son of Verus L. and Della V. Roller Paulhamus.
Surviving in addition to his wife are son, Kent L. of Linden; daughter, Linda L. (Gary A.) Farnsworth of Linden; brother, Max L. of Linden; sister, Stella S. Coles of Alabama, four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a brother, Clair R.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church, 353 Pleasant Hill Road, Cogan Station, with Pastor John W. Brokopp Sr. officiating. Burial will be at State Road Cemetery. There will be a visitation from 11 a.m. to the time of the service.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions be made to the church. Knight-Confer Funeral Home, Inc.1
