Verus Levi Paulhamus was born on 7 October 1890 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,4,6 He was the son of Levi M. Paulhamus and Clarissa L. King. Verus Levi Paulhamus married, at age 26, Della Viola Roller, age 22, daughter of John N. Roller and Sarah Matilda Hetner, on Thursday, 23 November 1916 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Alfred C. Paulhamus.2,5 Verus Levi Paulhamus died on 27 August 1973 at Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 82 years, 10 months and 20 days.3,4,6 He was buried on 30 August 1973 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
He was a farmer in 1930. The anniversary announcement for Verus Levi Paulhamus and Della Viola Roller was published on 16 December 1966 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. This announcement stated:
Mr. and Mrs. Verus Paulhamus, 413 Stevens Street, will observe their 50th wedding anniversary on December 20. They will be honored at a dinner this evening given by their family, at the home of Max Paulhamus, Linden RD 1, a son.
Mr. and Mrs. Paulhamus are also the parents of two other sons, Donald, Linden RD 1; Clair, Williamsport RD 2, and a foster daughter, Mrs. John Coles, Philadelphia. There are nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Mrs. Paulhamus is the former Della Roller. The couple was married at the home of Mrs. Paulhamus' parents, this city, with the Rev. A. C. Paulhamus officiating at the ceremony.
They are members of Trinity Gospel Church. Mr. Paulhamus is a retired farmer.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Verus's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.6
