     Charles A. Gehr was born on 23 August 1881.1 He was the son of Jacob Gehr and Catharina Regina Ludwig. Charles A. Gehr married Elsie Mae Wright, daughter of Henry Paxton Wright and Anna Elizabeth Ludwig, circa 1914. Charles A. Gehr died on 15 January 1959 at age 77 years, 4 months and 23 days.1 He was buried in the Stoltz Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
