He was the son of Johann Heischle and Charlotte Scheel.1 John Frederick Heishley married Mary Frances Lyon, daughter of Alanson Lyon and Frances Grimstead, circa 1865. John Frederick Heishley died at Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.1 He died in 1915 at age 74 years. He was buried in the Wildwood Cemetery, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
