Sarah Matilda Paulhamus was born on 5 April 1887. She was the daughter of George Horn Paulhamus and Barbara Waltz. Sarah Matilda Paulhamus married, at age 20, Ellis Wilson Horn, age 30 on Thursday, 19 September 1907. Sarah Matilda Paulhamus died on 17 May 1959 at age 72 years, 1 month and 12 days. She was buried in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
