     Carol A. Herman was born on 4 August 1941 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 She was the daughter of Leigh E. Herman and Ruth V. Waltz.1,2 Carol A. Herman married Robert F. Cecco.2 Carol A. Herman died on 7 February 2001 at 20 Banyan Street, Selinsgrove, Snyder County, Pennsylvania, at age 59 years, 6 months and 3 days.2,3 She was buried on 10 February 2001 in the All Saints Cemetery, located in Elysburg, Northumberland County, Pennsylvania.2
     She was graduated in 1959 from Williamsport Area High School, located in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 She was graduated in 1963 Mansfield University, Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio.2 Her obituary was published on 13 February 2001 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Carol Cecco, 59, of 20 Banyan St., Selinsgrove, died Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2001, at home. Born Aug. 4, 1941, in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Leigh Herman & Ruth Waltz. She worked for Weis Markets Inc., as a Consumer Service Director for 26 years. Previously, she was a school teacher in Ashtabula, Ohio. She attended St. John's United Methodist Church, Sunbury, was a member of the Mary Derr Rockefeller Aux., the Pa. Assoc. of Family Consumer Services, and the college Economics Alumni Group. She was a co-chairman for the Love & Care Street Fair. She graduated from Williamsport High School in 1959 and Mansfield University in 1963 with a BS in Home Economics.

Surviving, besides her father of Williamsport, are her husband, Robert F. Cecco; sisters Nancy L. Nagle, Mechanicsburg, and Jean M. Shilo, Sunbury; 1 niece and 1 nephew; 2 grand nieces; 2 grand nephews; stepchildren Edward Cecco and Melissa Cecco Carl, both of Catawissa RD; and 3 step grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 10 at Zweier's, 157 Chestnut St., Sunbury. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, Elysburg. Contributions may be made to the Love & Care Street Fair, c/o Sunbury Community Hospital, 11th St., Sunbury, Pa. 17801.2
