     J. Kenneth Best was born on 20 December 1910.1 He was the son of Edward Charles Best and Theressa G. Cornelius. J. Kenneth Best married, at age 21, Madie H. Clark, age 23, daughter of Frederick Franklin Clark and Lydia A. Harer, on Friday, 2 September 1932.2 J. Kenneth Best died on 8 July 1999 at age 88 years, 6 months and 18 days.1
