     Taylor Jefferson McCreary was born on 22 January 1887 at Kentucky. He married, at age 21, Grace VanBever, age 17, daughter of John Calvin VanBever and Mariah Jane Hall, on Saturday, 26 September 1908 at Jellico, Campbell County, Tennessee. Taylor Jefferson McCreary died on 26 October 1981 at Corbin, Knox County, Kentucky, at age 94 years, 9 months and 4 days. He was buried in the Warfield Cemetery, located in Knox County, Kentucky.
