The dedication stated:
Our school district and community has experience a tremendous loss with the passing of Marilyn Stoltz. She spent her life supporting this community as a distinguished business woman as well as all the students and staff of the school district as a board member for 8 years. Marilyn lived her life as a very caring and wise woman dedicated to the improvement of life of the residents of this community. Marilyn’s wisdom and advice to the many boards and organizations she served will be missed in many ways.
Marilyn not only served on the school board but she also volunteered her time to students in our elementary school. She loved this school as well as all the students that attend here and staff that work here. She was a friend to all of us in education and definitely leaves a seat unfilled. Words cannot express feelings I have for Marilyn Stoltz and what she represented. My deepest sympathy goes to all her family and I know she will still be there to help guide decisions we make for educating our students.3
