Friedrich K. Heischle was born on 15 January 1814 at Oberamt Balingen, Schwarzwaldkreis, Württemberg.1 He was the son of Johannes Heischle and Christiana C. Werfer. Friedrich K. Heischle married, at age 24, Catharina Scheel, age 22, daughter of Ferdinand Friederich Scheel and Maria Agnes Losch, on Monday, 19 March 1838.2 Friedrich K. Heischle and Catharina Scheel have also been reported to have been married 13 March 1838. Friedrich K. Heischle died on 12 June 1886 at Blooming Grove, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 72 years, 4 months and 28 days.1 He was buried in the Stoltz Cemetery, located in Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
