Canada Hodge Claiborne was born on 19 April 1883 at Campbell County, Tennessee. He was the son of Andrew Johnson Claiborne and Elizabeth J. Rogers. Canada Hodge Claiborne married, at age 24, Ida S. Bartley, age 19 on Friday, 3 May 1907 at Claiborne County, Tennessee.1 Canada Hodge Claiborne died on 19 April 1971 at La Follette, Campbell County, Tennessee, at age 88 years.
