Sarah Catherine Grimes was born on 2 April 1836 at Missouri.1 She was the daughter of Henry Carlock Grimes and Lucinda Ford.1 Sarah Catherine Grimes married, at age 16, William Henderson VanBebber, age 21, son of James VanBebber and Elizabeth Betty Yoakum, on Thursday, 31 March 1853 at Ray County, Missouri.1 Sarah Catherine Grimes died on 22 June 1883 at Knoxville Township, Ray County, Missouri, at age 47 years, 2 months and 20 days.1
