William Henderson VanBebber was born on 15 November 1831 at Tennessee.1 He was the son of James VanBebber and Elizabeth Betty Yoakum.1 William Henderson VanBebber first married, at age 21, Sarah Catherine Grimes, age 16, daughter of Henry Carlock Grimes and Lucinda Ford, on Thursday, 31 March 1853 at Ray County, Missouri.1 William Henderson VanBebber married a second time, at age 52, Caroline V. Pryor, age 32, daughter of James H. Pryor and Rachel Jane Simpson, on Saturday, 27 September 1884 at Ray County, Missouri.1 William Henderson VanBebber died on 17 January 1908 at Knoxville Township, Ray County, Missouri, at age 76 years, 2 months and 2 days.1
He became a widower at the age of 51 with the death of Sarah on 22 June 1883.1
