     Melinda J. Hale was born on 26 January 1822 at Kanawha County, Virginia.1 She married Andrew Franklin Donnally, son of Andrew Donnally and Marjory VanBibber, circa 1842.1 Melinda J. Hale died on 7 October 1848 at Kanawha County, Virginia, at age 26 years, 8 months and 11 days.1 She was buried in the Donnally Family Cemetery, located in Kanawha City, Kanawha County, West Virginia.
