     Pryor Lee VanBebber was born on 26 November 1840 at Ray County, Missouri.1 He was the son of William VanBebber and Elizabeth Barbee.1 Pryor Lee VanBebber married, at age 26, Lydia Ann Kincaid, age 20, daughter of James Madison Kincaid and Sarah Ann Craven, on Thursday, 10 October 1867 at Ray County, Missouri.1 Pryor Lee VanBebber married a second time, at age 37, Mary Madison Hutchings, age 21, daughter of Henry Hutchings and Eliza Jane Kincaid, on Tuesday, 17 September 1878 at Ray County, Missouri.1 Pryor Lee VanBebber died on 8 February 1887 at Ray County, Missouri, at age 46 years, 2 months and 13 days.1
     He became a widower at the age of 37 with the death of Lydia on 8 March 1878.1
