Margery Lewis was born in December 1827 at Kanawha County, Virginia. She was the daughter of John Lewis and Caroline Donnally. Margery Lewis married, at age 19, Edward Kenna on Tuesday, 15 June 1847 at Kanawha County, Virginia. Margery Lewis married Richard Johnson Ashby circa 1857. Margery Lewis died in 1902 at age 74 years.
