     Solomon Updegrove was born in 1845 at Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of John M. Updegrove and Elizabeth Reiss.1 Solomon Updegrove died on 27 March 1917 at Porter Township, Schuylkill County, Pennsylvania, at age 72 years.1
