     Harry D. Gross was born on 24 May 1907 at York County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of David D. Gross and Sarah Ann Waltemeyr.1 Harry D. Gross married, at age 27, Roberta A. Updegraff, age 22, daughter of Norman Updegraff and Mary S. Ryder, on Friday, 11 January 1935 at Maryland.1 Harry D. Gross died on 16 March 1972 at age 64 years, 9 months and 21 days.1
     He was an engineer for the Pennsylvania Central Railroad circa 1960.1 As of 1970, Harry D. Gross and Roberta A. Updegraff lived at 409 Edgehill Road, York, Pennsylvania.1
