Robert Eugene Paulhamus was born on 25 April 1922 at Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,2 He was the son of Lloyd Preston Paulhamus and Gertrude Ellen Ulmer.1,2 Robert Eugene Paulhamus married, at age 22, Letha Belle Beach, daughter of Boyd Beach and Samatha Pearl Metzger, on Saturday, 25 November 1944 at Balls Mills Evangelical Church, Balls Mills, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Alfred C. Paulhamus.2,4 Robert Eugene Paulhamus died on 29 April 2002 at home, 3066 Daughertys Run Road, Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 80 years and 4 days.3,2 He was buried on 1 May 2002. The funeral service was officiated by Reverend Wayne L. Hepler.2

Bob retired from the former Raub Supply in 1986; he was a self-employed farmer and an agent for Millville Mutual Insurance Co. for over 40 years. He was an active lifelong member of State Road U. M. Church, Treasurer of the State Road Cemetery Association, a volunteer at the Williamsport Hospital and a driver for Meals on Wheels and enjoyed traveling and making stained glass.

Surviving, besides his wife, are a son, Richard E. of Glen Gardner, NJ; a daughter, Nancy P. Menne of State College; brothers Bernard L. and Glenn A., both of Cogan Station and Ernest C. of Williamsport; grandsons Ryan E. Paulhamus, Cason R. and Derek A. Knipe.
He was predeceased by a brother, Carl L., in 1969.
Funeral service, 2 p.m. Wednesday at the church, Beautys Run and Daughertys Run Roads, with Rev. Dr. Wayne L. Hepler officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
Visitation, 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Knight-Confer's, 1914 Memorial Ave., and 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church. The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions to the Susquehanna Hospice, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport or the State Road U. M. Church Memorial Fund, 2055 State Rt. 973 West, Cogan Station, PA 17728.2
