Austin Yinger1,2

Austin Yinger was born on 18 September 1926.2 He was the son of Harry Yinger and Miriam Wolf.1 Austin Yinger married, at age 22, Ruth Arlene Urich, daughter of Walter G. Urich and Lydia Elizabeth Updegraff, on Sunday, 12 June 1949 at Goldsboro, York County, Pennsylvania.1 Austin Yinger died on 22 August 1998 at age 71 years, 11 months and 4 days.2
He was an accountant and salesman in 1982.1 His obituary was published on 24 August 1998 in the York Daily Record, printed in York, York County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
ETTERS - Austin Yinger, 71, of Newberry Township, Etters, died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at his home. He was the husband of Ruth A. (Urich) Yinger.
The service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at the William E. Little Funeral Home Inc., 60 S. Main St., Manchester. Burial will be in Paddletown Cemetery in Newberrytown. Viewings will be 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Yinger was born Sept. 18, 1926, in Goldsboro. He was the son of the late Harry and Miriam (Wolfe) Yinger.
He worked at the front desk and was a bookkeeper at Sheraton Hotel in New Cumberland. Prior to that, he worked at Super 8 Motel in Yocumtown, and in the carpet department at Sears. He attended First Assembly of God Church.
Mr. Yinger also is survived by two sons, Galen A. Yinger of Nazareth, Northampton County and Randy A. Yinger of Lewisberry; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three brothers, Charles Yinger of York, Wayne Yinger of York Haven and Frank E. Yinger of Mechanicsburg.
Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Dwayne Campbell, pastor of First Assembly of God Church in York, assisted by the Rev. William Farrell, visitation pastor of First Assembly of God Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association, 2997 Cape Horn Road, Red Lion 17356.3
