     Robert Fisher Updegraff was born on 1 March 1908 at Goldsboro, York County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Robert Lee Updegraff and Elizabeth Virginia Fisher.1 Robert Fisher Updegraff married, at age 19, Luella Elizabeth Stare, daughter of John K. Stare and Martha V. Wenzl, on Monday, 2 May 1927 at Baltimore, Baltimore County, Maryland.1 Robert Fisher Updegraff died in January 1974 at age 65 years and 10 months.2
     He appeared on the census of 2 January 1920 in the household of Robert Lee Updegraff and Elizabeth Virginia Fisher at Goldsboro, York County, Pennsylvania.
