     Charles E. Barnes was born on 21 August 1888 at Pennsylvania.4,2 He was the son of Richard Barnes and Mary Jane Hewitt. Charles E. Barnes married Alma C. Young, daughter of George W. Young and Maria Anna Streile, circa 1917.5 Charles E. Barnes died in April 1978 at age 89 years and 7 months.2
     He was in military service during World War I between 1914 and 1917. According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Charles's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
