Clemett L. Poffenbarger was born on 3 March 1869 at Madison Township, Butler County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Eli Poffenbarger and Catherine Duvall.1 Clemett L. Poffenbarger married Sophia Rose Hummel, daughter of John Fredrick Hummel and Cathryn Barbara Diener, in 1890.1 Clemett L. Poffenbarger died on 10 March 1938 at Dayton, Montgomery County, Ohio, at age 69 years and 7 days.1
