Margaret T. Kramer was born on 28 February 1908 at Lykens Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania.2,3 She was the daughter of Frank Kramer and Mary Hoffman.2 Margaret T. Kramer married Harry Beshore Updegraff, son of Harry Fortenbaugh Updegraff and Rebecca Beshore, circa 1945.1,2 Margaret T. Kramer died on 27 May 2002 at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsborough Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, at age 94 years, 2 months and 29 days.2,3 She was buried on 31 May 2002 in the Rolling Green Cemetery, located in Camp Hill, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania.2
She was widowed at age 68 by the death of Harry on 8 January 1977.1,4 Her obituary was published on 30 May 2002 in the The Patriot-News, printed in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Margaret T. "Peg" Updegraff, 94, of Lemoyne, died Monday, at Holy Spirit Hospital, East Pennsboro Twp.
She was a retired bank teller from the former CCNB of Enola. She was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church, New Cumberland; St. Anthony's Guild, since 1933; AARP; and Columbian Club. She enjoyed gardening and reading.
She was born February 28, 1908, in Lykens, to the late Frank and Mary (Hoffman) Kramer.
She was the widow of Dr. H. B. Updegraff, MD; she is survived by a son, Karl Friederich Updegraff of Hampden Twp; a brother, Joseph Kramer of Lillington, NC; a sister, Mary Yontz of Harrisburg; and granddaughter, Kelly U. Miller of Frederick, MD.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday, at her church, with the Rev. Msgr. Robert E. Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Rolling Green Memorial Park, Lower Allen Twp. Visitation will be from 9: 30-10: 30 a.m. Friday, at Parthemore Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., New Cumberland.
