Sally May Updegrove was born on 18 June 1929 at Van Wert, Van Wert County, Ohio.2,1 She was the daughter of Shelby Glenn Updegrove and Minnie Mae Smith.3 Sally May Updegrove married Richard M. Steinmetz in 1946.2 Sally May Updegrove died on 30 January 2005 at Fawcett Memorial Hospital, Port Charlotte, Charlotte County, Florida, at age 75 years, 7 months and 12 days.2,1 A memorial service for Sally May Updegrove was held The Remnant Seeds Ministries, Port Charlotte, Charlotte County, Florida, on 4 February 2005 at 3 p.m. with Jose Davila officiating.2

She is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years, Richard M. Steinmetz; two sons, Richard A. "Tony" Steinmetz of Punta Gorda, Fla., and Jerome K. Steinmetz of Agawam, Mass; one daughter, Beth Ann Verse of Centerville, Mich; one sister, Margaret Briggs of Franklin, Tenn; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, 2005, with a reception for family and friends from 1:30 p.m. until 3 p.m. at The Remnant Seeds Ministries, 21202 Olean Blvd., Bldg. B1, Port Charlotte. The Rev. Jose Davila, pastor of The Remnant Seeds Ministries, will officiate.
Memorial donations are suggested to The Remnant Seeds Ministries, 21202 Olean Blvd., Bldg. B1, Port Charlotte, FL 33952. Arrangements are by Roberson Funeral Home and Crematory, Port Charlotte chapel.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Sally's last known residence was Port Charlotte, Charlotte County, Florida.1
