     Bertha Irene Frey was born on 20 January 1887.1,3 She was the daughter of G. B. M. Frey and Rachel Stolz. Bertha Irene Frey married, at age 25, Samuel Barner Wilt, age 21, son of George Washington Wilt and Mary Francis Barner, on Saturday, 16 November 1912.2 Bertha Irene Frey died on 17 January 1974 at age 86 years, 11 months and 28 days.1,2 She was buried in the Muncy Cemetery, located in Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
     Bertha and Samuel owned Frey's Hardware Store at one time in Muncy. According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Bertha's last known residence was Muncy, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
