Beatrice R. Wagoner was born in 1931 at Duboistown, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Harry E. Wagoner Sr. and Elizabeth I. Duffield.1 Beatrice R. Wagoner first married James F. Wettlaufer circa 1956.1 Beatrice R. Wagoner married a second time Ernest Charles Paulhamus, son of Lloyd Preston Paulhamus and Gertrude Ellen Ulmer, on Friday, 14 February 1986 at Balls Mills United Methodist Church, Balls Mills, Hepburn Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Beatrice R. Wagoner died on 16 December 2007 at Manor Care Health Center, Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 76 years.1
Her obituary was published on 18 December 2007 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:
Beatrice "Sweety Beaty" R. Paulhamus, 76, of Williamsport, PA, passed away at the Manor Care of Jersey Shore on Sunday, December 16, 2007. She was the wife of Ernest C. Paulhamus with whom she shared 22 years of marriage.
Beatrice was born in DuBoistown, PA and was the daughter of the late Elizabeth I. Duffield and Harry E. Wagoner Sr.
Beatrice was a member of the Walk by Faith Full Gospel on Lycoming Creek Rd. She loved to crochet, travel and take pictures of people, places and things. She worked for over 10 years for Merri-Mac Inc. and retired from Bailey Controls after 12 years.
She is survived her husband two sons James F. Wettlaufer, Jr. (Welliya) of Estella, PA, Kenneth E Wettlaufer (Joanne) of South Williamsport, three daughters, Joyce M. Parks of Harriman TN, Beatrice E. Waltz (Tim) of Williamsport and Roxann K. Koch (Wayne) of Jersey Shore. She is also survived by two brothers John Wagoner of South Williamsport, Chuck Wagoner of Williamsport, a sister Elizabeth Williams of Williamsport a step-son Joseph M. Paulhamus of South Williamsport and by 19 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Beatrice is preceded in death by a stepson, Randy E. Paulhamus and by two brothers, Edwin and Harry Wagoner.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Beatrice’s Life Celebration on Friday, December 21, 2007, from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. at the James C. Maneval Funeral Home, Ltd., "A Life Celebration Home," 500 West Fourth St. Williamsport. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Ronald D. Morgret, Jr. will officiate the services. Interment will follow at the State Road Cemetery.
