Grace Alice Paulhamus1,2

     Grace Alice Paulhamus was born on 27 May 1917 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 She was the daughter of Sylvester William Paulhamus and Bessie Roseanna Kinley.1 Grace Alice Paulhamus married, at age 18, Paul Melvin Lovell, age 23, son of David Watson Lovell and Mary Elizabeth Alexander, on Saturday, 11 January 1936 at home of Rev. Alfred C. Paulhamus, Bloomsburg, Columbia County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Alfred C. Paulhamus.1 Grace Alice Paulhamus died on 4 January 2005 at Rose View Center, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 87 years, 7 months and 8 days.1,2 A memorial service for Grace Alice Paulhamus was held Fairlawn Community Church, Cogan Station, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, on 7 January 2005 with Pastor Andrew W. Brokopp officiating.1 Grace Alice Paulhamus was buried in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
     She was widowed at age 74 by the death of Paul on 19 June 1991.3,4,5,1 Her obituary was published on 6 January 2005 in the Williamsport Sun-Gazette, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Her obituary stated:

     Grace A. Lovell, 87, of 2100 Kenwood Ave., died Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, at Rose View Center, following an extended illness.

     Her husband, Paul M. Lovell, died June 19, 1991.

     Grace was a homemaker and along with her husband owned and operated the former Gospel Book Store on Pine Street. She was a member of Fairlawn Community Church, Cogan Station, and had taught Sunday school and Bible school. She was also a member of the W.C.T.U. and volunteered many years for the Child Evangelism Fellowship. Grace enjoyed playing piano, sewing and spending time with her family and friends.

     Born May 27, 1917, in Linden, she was a daughter of Sylvester W. and Bessie R. Kinley Paulhamus.

     Surviving are her daughters, Marian I. Beck, Montgomery, and Pauline M. Durkee, Williamsport; sister, Dorothy I. Fisher, Jersey Shore; grandchildren, Connie, Jeff, Suzanne, Michael, Melissa, Kevin, Candi, Brian and Kristen; and six great-grandchildren.

     She was predeceased by two daughters, Janice R. Bardo and Shirley L. Liddic, and four brothers and a sister.

     A celebration of life will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Fairlawn Community Church, 353 Pleasant Hill Road, Cogan Station, with Pastor Andrew W. Brokopp, associate pastor, officiating. Interment in State Road Cemetery at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to the church. Knight-Confer Funeral Home.1
According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Grace's last known residence was Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2
