     Martin J. Winter was born on 6 October 1896 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2,3 He was the son of Hiram E. Winter and Emily J. Smithgall. Martin J. Winter married, at age 24, Beulah Vivian Pidcoe, age 20, daughter of George H. Pidcoe and Mary Weinman, on Saturday, 16 April 1921 at Warrensville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 Martin J. Winter died on 23 January 1953 at age 56 years, 3 months and 17 days.1 He was buried in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3
     He was a mechanic for Mussina garage. He was last known to be residing in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, as of 1942.4
