Ida Emerson was born on 25 June 1870 at Keithsburg, Mercer County, Illinois.1 She was the daughter of William Swafford Emerson and Delila Hurst. Ida Emerson married, at age 23, Jonas Augustus Heim, age 25, son of Johann Heim and Margaretha Heim, on Thursday, 15 February 1894 at Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.1 Ida Emerson died on 31 July 1961 at Beatrice, Gage County, Nebraska, at age 91 years, 1 month and 6 days. She was buried in the Heim Cemetery, located in Dawson, Richardson County, Nebraska.
