     Inis N. Vanhorn was born on 20 July 1896.1 She was the daughter of Leverett R. Vanhorn and Emma Engle.2 Inis N. Vanhorn married, at age 21, Leon Pleasant Gardner, age 20, son of Pleasant Taylor Gardner and Sarah Darlisha Updegraff, on Wednesday, 3 October 1917 at Crisfield, Harper County, Kansas.2 Inis N. Vanhorn died on 14 February 1981 at age 84 years, 6 months and 25 days.1
