Smith married, at age 21, Arnold L. Martin, age 18, son of Howard James Martin and Bessie Amanda Smith, on Saturday, 16 December 1933.1 Eleanor E. Smith died on 23 December 1990 at age 78 years, 4 months and 2 days.3,2 She was buried in the Woodward Township Cemetery, located in Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
