     Howard Elmer Whitnack was born on 11 May 1888 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of John Salimas Whitnack and Jennie Oakes. Howard Elmer Whitnack married, at age 23, Edna Rae Waltz, age 22, daughter of Daniel Waltz and Phoebe Jane Kyle, in April 1912. Howard Elmer Whitnack died on 17 February 1974 at age 85 years, 9 months and 6 days.1 He was buried in the Montoursville Cemetery, located in Montoursville, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
     Howard Elmer Whitnack also went by the name of Peter.2 According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Howard's last known residence was Jersey Shore, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
