Walter Wesley Berry1

Walter Wesley Berry was born in June 1886 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.2 He was the son of Franklin Berry and Rebecca Fry. Walter Wesley Berry married, at age 22, Ella Viola Waltz, age 21, daughter of Daniel Waltz and Phoebe Jane Kyle, on Saturday, 26 September 1908 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Robert H. Williams.3 Walter Wesley Berry died in 1968 at age 81 years.4 He was buried in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.5

Mr. and Mrs. Walter Berry, Williamsport R.D. 2, are observing their 55th wedding anniversary today.
They were married at the home of Mrs. Berry's parents, Linden R.D. 1, by the Rev. Robert H. Williams.
A Williamsport area native, Mr. Berry was engaged in farming. His wife, the former Ella Waltz is a native of the Linden area.
The Berry's are members of the Buchanan Baptist Church where Mr. Berry is a deacon. They are members also of Bottle Run Grange No. 1301.
