Pierson Samuel Waltz was born on 3 November 1884 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. He was the son of Daniel Waltz and Phoebe Jane Kyle. Pierson Samuel Waltz married Mattie Belle Case, daughter of John A. Case and Margaret Smith, circa 1909. Pierson Samuel Waltz died in 1954 at age 69 years. He was buried in the Buchanan Baptist Church Cemetery, located in Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.
