     George Albert Coe was born on 27 October 1868 at Jerseyville (later Shade), Athens County, Ohio.1 He was the son of Lucius Q. Coe and Rebecca H. Sanders. George Albert Coe married, at age 31, Bertha Blanche Williams, age 24, daughter of Wilbur M. Williams and Belinda Jane Creamer, on Wednesday, 27 June 1900 at Athens County, Ohio.1 George Albert Coe died on 20 March 1963 at age 94 years, 4 months and 21 days.1 He was buried in the West Union Street Cemetery, located in Athens, Athens County, Ohio.1
