Asbury Creamer was born on 1 February 1830 at Somerset County, Pennsylvania.1 He was the son of Joseph Creamer and Mary Ann Morrison. Asbury Creamer married, at age 22, Rowena Broadbent Griswold, age 19, daughter of Alfred Griswold and Emily Marsh, on Thursday, 22 April 1852 at Athens County, Ohio.1 Asbury Creamer died on 12 August 1898 at Jerseyville (later Shade), Athens County, Ohio, at age 68 years, 6 months and 11 days.1
He was was the owner of a wagon and buggy shop circa 1880.2
