Ellen Jane Waltz was born on 7 April 1872 at Anthony Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1 She was the daughter of Simeon Waltz and Christina Heim. Ellen Jane Waltz married, at age 26, McClellan Waltz, age 34 on Thursday, 26 January 1899. Ellen Jane Waltz died on 21 February 1944 at Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 71 years, 10 months and 14 days.1
