Harry LeRoy Ulmer was born on 13 January 1908 at Newberry, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1,2 He was the son of Harry Edward Ulmer and Sarah Alice Hart. Harry LeRoy Ulmer married Bernice Evelyn Vaughn, daughter of Augustus Ellsworth Vaughn and Bessie Mae Peck, on 11 June. Harry LeRoy Ulmer married Pearl E. Weigle, daughter of William H. Weigle and Anna M. Deitrick, on 4 November. Harry LeRoy Ulmer died on 31 January 1997 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 89 years and 18 days.1,2 He was buried on 4 February 1997 in the Saint Michael's Lutheran Church Cemetery, located in Quiggleville, Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
He was a farmer. His obituary was published sometime in February 1997 in the local paper, printed in Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. His obituary stated:
Harry L. Ulmer was a self employed farmer and worked for the former Armour Leather Company for 38 years. He then worked for Miller Construction of Jersey Shore and Willard White Inc. of Renovo. He attended the Quiggleville United Methodist Chuch and the Maranatha Bible Church.1
