     Clarence Robert Liddick was born on 16 January 1915 at Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3 He was the son of Harry M. Liddick and Mary C. Hill. Clarence Robert Liddick first married Alice Catherine Metzger, daughter of Charles W. Metzger and Catherine Elizabeth Waltz, circa 1936.1 Clarence Robert Liddick married a second time, at age 63, Elaine E. Shultz, age 57, daughter of Barber Shultz and Blanche [—?—], on Saturday, 1 April 1978.2 Clarence Robert Liddick died on 7 July 1990 at Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 75 years, 5 months and 21 days.3,2
     He became a widower at the age of 59 with the death of Alice on 14 August 1974.
