     Harry L. Metzger was born on 8 February 1915 at Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.3,1 He was the son of Verus A. Metzger and Mary Elizabeth Hauck. Harry L. Metzger married, at age 23, Cora Rachel Ulmer, age 22, daughter of Isaac E. Ulmer and Annie R. Pepperman, on Thursday, 1 December 1938 at State Road Evangelical Church, Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, by the Reverend Benjamin Griffin Hoffman.2 Harry L. Metzger died on 27 April 1994 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, Bradford County, Pennsylvania, at age 79 years, 2 months and 19 days.4,1 He was buried on 30 April 1994 in the State Road United Methodist Church Cemetery, located in Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.4
     Harry L. Metzger was also known as Harold. He was a dairy farmer in 1940. According to the Social Security Administrations Death Index Harry's last known residence was Linden, Woodward Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
