Clarence Edwin Dunkleberger

     Clarence Edwin Dunkleberger was born in April 1895.1 He was the son of William Henry Dunkelberger and Laura Ann Roller. Clarence Edwin Dunkleberger married Eliza M. Roller, age 20, daughter of John Jacob Roller and Elvira Elyira Marquardt, on Saturday, 9 April 1921. Clarence Edwin Dunkleberger died on 24 March 1963 at Williamsport Hospital, Williamsport, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania, at age 67 years and 11 months.1 He was buried on 27 March 1963 in the Green Lawn Memorial Park, located in Montgomery, Clinton Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania.1
     He appeared on the census of 1 June 1900 in the household of William Henry Dunkelberger and Laura Ann Roller at Williamsport, 10th Ward, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Clarence Edwin Dunkleberger appeared on the census of 13 January 1920 in the household of William Henry Dunkelberger and Laura Ann Roller at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Clarence Edwin Dunkleberger and Eliza M. Roller appeared on the census of 19 April 1930 at Old Lycoming Township, Lycoming County, Pennsylvania. Clarence E. Dunkleberger, 67, of Williamsport RD2, died at 8:30 a.m., Sunday, March 24, 1963, a week before he was to retire from Avco Manufacturing Corp. Death occurred in the Williamsport Hospital, after a short illness.

Mr. Dunkleberger was to have retired on April 1. On April 9, he and his wife, the former Eliza Roller would have observed their 43rd wedding anniversary. They were members of the Gospel Tabernacle.

Also surviving are eight sons, Eldon of Trout Run Star Route, Gerald E., of Williamsport RD1, Dalton, of Montoursville RD1, LaVern of this city, Virgil, of Hepburnville, Gordon of Williamsport RD2, and Delroy and Gary, both at home; three daughtrs, Mrs. Curtis Halderman, of Linden RD1, Mrs. Mark Sullivan, of Linden RD, and Mrs. Ray Walters, of Muncy RD4; four brothers, Larue, of Williamsport RD2, Elwood of Renovo, Clyde, of Detroit, Mich., and Ernest, of Clearwater, Fla; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Woltz, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Mrs. Florence Stabley, of this city; 23 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Knight's, 1914 Memorial Avenue, with his pastor, the Rev. Basil Lesko, officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
